Capital Vélo Fest Bike Rally:

Ride in teams of 3-5 people in a friendly challenge through the streets of Ottawa along bike paths and low traffic volume streets.  Riders follow a route searching for the answers to quirky questions and exploring the hidden gems of interesting sights and lesser known cycling routes in Ottawa.  It’s an exciting tour of Ottawa on bikes with prizes, surprises and a fun couple of hours on wheels through the nation’s Capital!

The route is about 15km and you ride at your own pace with your team as you discover little known fascinating corners of the city.

Bring your own roadworthy bike, bike helmet and a cell phone/camera (some rally questions require a photo answer) and get set to see a side of Ottawa you may not know!  Ottawa weather can be unpredictable at this time of year, so dress to be comfortable riding (some light rain won’t stop us, but should we be rained out by storms or heavy rain, we have set aside Sunday October 21 for our rain-date).

* RAIN-DATE SUNDAY OCTOBER 21

Register by 4pm Friday October 19th.

The cost for registering for the bike rally is only $25 plus a minimum donation of $10.  Your registration includes full rally participation, a picnic lunch, prizes, fun on your bike and a contribution to provide safe shelter and training to homeless teenage girls and young women in Uganda.
